Mermaids and children make for a beautiful pairing. The Boys and Girls Club of East Los Angeles graciously invited Hannah Mermaid to speak to the children about her adventures in the sea and how they can help protect the ocean. Nothing captivates a group of children like a mermaid. After an inspiring talk photographer Mike Luzansky shot Hannah surrounded by litter that was collected from the streets of Los Angeles. The goal was to give the children visuals of what is happening to our oceans.
Hannah’s message to the children/
– Always throw rubbish in the trash.
– Pick up trash on the beach and keep it from storm drains which lead to the ocean.
– Recycle and reuse the products that you buy.
– Only use biodegradable cleaning products
