Pick It Up is Model Environment’s ongoing campaign to prevent litter from washing down storm drains and into the ocean. Like most coastal cities Los Angeles’s storm drains dump into the ocean. We pick up litter to raise awareness and to help keep the ocean clean. Whether we have a group of many or just one person, picking up litter is always an immediately effective way to make a difference and protect Earth. Please join us at one of our pick ups. Details will be posted in our blog section, as well as, on Facebook and Instagram. By the way, we collect litter in bags that were also collected from the streets. Please do what you can to reduce waste.
