We all have to live with the waste we create. Having uniformity with proper
waste disposal makes the job of dealing with trash a whole lot neater.

Waste management hasn't been the most exciting topic. We are hoping to change that.

Model Environment is helping educate the public on proper waste disposal. Each city handles trash differently and navigating the different rules can be confusing.

ME gives you the basic information acquired from your city sanitation department. You submit images to Model Environment portraying how to manage waste based on the information provided. Voila. 
We share the images with others to help organize and promote the proper disposal of household trash.

Don't: forget your reusable cup when you travel
Do: take your reusable cup everywhere
Don't: Crush cans with open toed shoes
Do: Wear sturdy, closed toe shoes
Don't: Put boxes in the garbage without breaking them down
Do: Save space and break them down
Don't: Leave Appliances plugged in
Do: Unplug appliances and electronics to save energy
Don't: Get a bag at every store
Do: Bring your own bag everywhere
Don't: Leave your car running while you put on makeup
Do: Turn your engine off the second your car is stopped to prevent toxic exhaust from needlessly contributing to climate change
Don't: Pour water on cement
Do: Find a shrub or something alive that will benefit from the water
Don't: Walk by litter
Do: Pick it up and dispose of it properly
Don't: Buy Animal fur
Do: Buy sweatshop-free, fair trade, local, organic, natural fiber, secondhand clothing
Don't: Sit around bored
Do: Get outside and skip
Don't: Leave water running if you're not using it
Do: Fill a glass with water to rinse
Don't: Take the elevator if it's not necessary
Do: Use the stairs
